Valley of Flowers National Park is an Indian national park, located in North Chamoli, in the state of Uttarakhand and is known for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and the variety of flora.
Pickup from Rishikesh 6 AM in morning and drive to Govindghat (10 hour drive). Reach Govindghat and check into Guest House. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast trek to Ghangaria (2950 m) - 4-5 hour trek, 11 km. Reach Ghangharia and check into Guest House. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast trek to Valley of Flowers (3510 m). 3-4 hour, 8 km. The valley is situated at a very remarkable area, which is the conversion point of Himalayan ranges, Zanskar and Western and Eastern Himalayas. This fairyland located in the high altitudes of Himalayas is protected by snowy mountains. Bounded by the magnificent mountain ranges and glittering glaciers, this place unfolds the charisma and charm of nature at its best. Enjoy beauty of nature. Trek back to Ghangharia. Dinner and Night Stay.
After breakfast trek to Hemkund Sahib (5-6 hour, 12 km). Shri Hemkund Sahib is an important pilgrimage destination for Hindus and Sikhs. It is recorded in the holy Granth Sahib that the tenth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Govind Singh mediated on the serene banks of Hemkund in one of his earlier births. Hemkund is the breathtaking Lokpal lake located at an altitude of 4329 m from the sea level. The picturesque natural settings make this hill region an amazing place for rejuvenating vacations. After Matha taking trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner and over night stay.
After breakfast trek back to Govindghat - 4-5 hour, 11 km. Then drive to Badrinath. Journey pass through many well know places like Govind ghat, Pandukeshwar, many beautiful villages, waterfalls, water streams, many river confluences and green forest which will encourage you to journey again & again in Himalaya region. After reaching Badrinath take dip in hot water kund before visiting temple. Visit temple & its campus many idols is there of gods. After Darshan we will go to Mana Village. Mana is the last Indian Village at China Border. In Mana near by places like Bheem Pul, Vasudhara Falls, Sarswati river & Neelkanth peak etc. Explore Mana & Drive to Joshimath. Night stay in Joshimath.
After breakfast drive back to Rishikesh. Dropping to Rishikesh Bus stand around 9 PM.
